About the Workshop
Sharing Faith with Young Adolescents is designed for coordinators of religious education and youth ministry and others interested in developing strong catechetical and pastoral ministry with young adolescents (grades 6-8). This workshop helps you explore new and innovative ways to minister to this age group that effectively help them own and appreciate their Catholic faith.
This workshop helps leaders:
• Recognize how changes within the family system and developmental changes with youth impact our ministry.
• Explore the latest research on how Catholic identity is formed for youth.
• Find ways to balance pastoral ministry and catechesis for young adolescents.
• Understand young adolescent learning styles and how to design ministry efforts to match those styles.
• Explore models for ministry that work with young adolescents.
