The Center for Ministry Development is excited to announce its 2010 national workshop series on Connecting Catholic Families with the Bible--A Workshop for Parish Leaders. The workshop will be held in 50 dioceses to provide parish leaders with strategies and resources to help their families break open the Word of God. This one-day workshop, which runs from 9:00 to 3:00, will:
1. Share a strategic vision to bring Catholic families and the Bible together
2. Discuss the Catholic approach to Scripture in light of Catholic family living
3. Explore biblical literacy for Catholic families
4. Provide ideas and activities to connect family life and the Bible – gathered and non-gathered, parish and home
5. Let the Word inspire participants with its power and presence
The workshop is designed for Pastors, Faith Formation Leaders, DREs, Coordinators of Lifelong Faith Formation, Youth Ministers, Catechists, and Leaders of Sacramental Preparation.
